Thousands of African Americans recently attended a seminar in Atlanta thanks to the Earn Your Leisure movement, a financial literacy initiative with a distinctive look and voice.

Researchers claim that despite the expansion of the Black middle class, African Americans continue to experience the harshest consequences of rising inflation since they underperform their white counterparts in terms of wealth, income, savings, and homeownership.

The founders said their goal was to educate everyone interested in learning about money. In addition, the event was intended to encourage guests to take charge of their financial destinies and invest in themselves.
