Deeply Rooted, a Black and Indigenous farmers market launched last year, hosted a one-day pop-up at Stackt Market in Toronto.

Featuring cultural products from vendors, passersby had the chance to try, sport, and buy teas, fashions, and jewelry.

Founder Camille Mayers told Narcity she launched the market to provide an inclusive space for Black and Indigenous entrepreneurs building businesses. It debuted last year every Sunday between May to September at Dieppe Park on Cosburn Ave. in the city’s east end.

Organizers say they’re hoping to expand to a larger space so that vendors can sell their products all year round.

Products included African spices, cultural soaps, body oils, coffee, and more. See pictures from the pop-up market below.
