Amazon has announced it is testing a new Black-Owned Business badge to recognize Black Business Month and the accelerator's first anniversary. The badge intends to make it simpler for people to find, shop for, and support Black-owned businesses selling in Amazon's store and help Black-owned small businesses reach more customers.

In addition, the Black-Owned Business badge will indicate to customers when a Black-owned company sells the current featured offer for a product. Amazon's Black-Owned Business badge will be shown during this test on a portion of the qualified product offer detail pages and under Search in Amazon's U.S. store.

Customers can learn about, patronize, and support Black-owned businesses throughout Black Business Month and the rest of the year.
