The Black Professionals in Tech Network’s (BPTN) premier event will take place Oct. 26 and 27, the company announced.

The BFUTR Global Tech Summit, a two-day marketplace for Black tech professionals to network and engage in career development, will occur at the Beanfield Centre in Toronto.

“The BFUTR Global Tech Summit is where the global Black tech community and its allies come together to create a physical place where Black tech talent thrives. We build employment pipelines for our partners, connect our members with employers of choice, discover new industry innovations, facilitate executive collisions and networking opportunities, and most importantly, help to close the diversity gap in tech across North America. It’s what BFUTR has provided its attendees and partners year after year,” Lekan Olawoye, CEO and founder of the BPTN, said in a statement.

The marketplace will also include entertainment. This year’s VIP after-party concert performer is three-time Grammy-winning musician and serial entrepreneur Ludacris.

The event, sponsored by TD, is expected to draw more than 20,000 attendees. It is accessible free of charge to general audiences. That said, users can buy a VIP pass for $50 and get access to the BFUTR primary stage experience and the VIP after-party concert with Ludacris.
