Black Mental Health Week is underway.

Sponsored by the TAIBU Community Health Centre, Tropicana Community Services, and Strides Toronto, the offering will feature several events and workshops to tackle “the ongoing mental health impact of persistent, systemic anti-Black racism in all settings.”

The group is holding different events until March 12 that will present the opportunity to learn more about the impact of anti-Black racism on Black mental health and how you can get involved to support systemic change.

One of the events, “Black Mental Health and Resistance,” scheduled for March 9, discusses the role resistance plays for Black communities in maintaining mental well-being.
