Earn Your Leisure’s Invest Fest Atlanta touched down at the Georgia World Congress Centre, bringing more than 20,000 through its doors for a one-of-a-kind financial experience — one of the best of the year.

Combining investing, entrepreneurship, pop culture and entertainment, the three-day festival, held from Aug. 25-27, included panel discussions, live performances, a vendor marketplace featuring 400 small businesses, and more.

Keynote speakers included Robert F. Smith, America’s richest Black billionaire, actor and comedian Steve Harvey, Atlanta rapper Jezzy, Earn Your Leisure’s Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings, Ian ‘The Master Investor’ Dunlap and orator 19 Keys. Sports agent Rich Paul, investor Michael Novogratz, producer Jermaine Dupri and several other dignitaries were in attendance.

Several more led powerful discussions about investing, taxes, crypto, stocks, real estate, insurance, estate planning, content creation and more. Topics covered included:

● Sports business: Insights into the intersection of sports and commerce, illuminating opportunities beyond the game.
● Beauty entrepreneurship: How to thrive in the competitive world of beauty and personal care.
● Real estate: Strategies for wealth generation through property investment.
● A.I. and future technology: A glimpse into the future with discussions on artificial intelligence.
● Building a business: Expert advice on establishing a successful venture from the ground up.
● Redefining media ownership: Exploring pathways to influence and ownership in the media landscape.
● Mental health: The importance of financial well-being for mental well-being.
● Branding and franchise building: Crafting and expanding brands in a dynamic market.
● Venture capital: Navigating the world of investment and venture capital funding.
● Social media mastery: Leveraging social platforms for business growth.
● Future of investing: Shaping strategies for the evolving investment landscape.
● Healthcare and nutrition: The correlation between financial wellness and physical well-being.
● NACA: Understanding the benefits of the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America.

But perhaps the highlight of the festival was a cheque presentation from billionaire rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who announced a significant partnership with Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings from Earn Your Leisure, introducing a $1 million fund designed to make investments based on the methodologies discussed on the EYL platform.

“I am so impressed with Earn Your Leisure’s mission. It’s one of the most disruptive platforms in the fight for economic empowerment and equality. Rashad and Troy are making financial literacy cool for our community,” Combs said at the time of the presentation. “I’ve given them a challenge to go beyond talking about finances and put that knowledge into action for others to see the process. I’m excited to see how much people learn by watching the strategies be put to use in real time.”

The financial advice discussed on EYL will be the foundation for Bilal and Millings’ strategy as they investigate assets in various asset classes. Combs further pledged that all proceeds from the fund would be donated to the three Capital Preparatory charter schools he operates in Connecticut and New York. The money will support the schools’ expansion and give teachers, staff, and, most crucially, students access to invaluable resources.

“Partnering with the legendary Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to infuse a million dollars into the Earn Your Leisure fund is more than just a collaboration — it’s a seismic shift in generational wealth. This isn’t just about money; it’s about the convergence of vision, hustle, and a commitment to rewriting the rules. We’re not just opening doors; we’re building new doors, new rooms, new floors. So, remember, it’s not just a million dollars; it’s a million dreams, a million futures, and a million reasons why you should never stop betting on yourself. The revolution of financial empowerment is here, and we’re the architects,” Rashad Bilal said.

Comb’s Revolt Media & TV closed a deal three years ago to broadcast “Assets Over Liabilities,” a show hosted by Bilal and Millings, exclusively on Revolt’s platform. In addition, Bilal and Millings have their “Earn Your Leisure” network, which includes the Market Monday’s show and gives rise to emerging and established content creators from the world of business, finance and entrepreneurship.

“Teaming up with the icon himself, Sean’  Diddy’ Combs, to pour a million dollars into the heart of the Earn Your Leisure fund is nothing short of monumental. This partnership isn’t just about capital, it’s about a shared mission to light up pathways to prosperity. Picture this: a million-dollar torch igniting opportunities, sparking innovation, and dispelling the darkness of financial misinformation. Our collaboration with Diddy isn’t solely an investment — it’s an affirmation that the world is waking up to the importance of economic education,” Troy Millings said.
