Leading Ladies Connect, a group of Black and other racialized women entrepreneurs, held a business fair and networking event Aug. 12. The event brought out dozens of business owners who had a chance to experience different products and participate in discussions about entrepreneurship.

Created to connect women and establish opportunities, this event was one of many planned this year. Tara Myrall, a transformational coach, business consultant and speaker; Dr. Rav Gill, a mental health expert; and Veronica K Fazio of Wedding Planner Lifestyle Magazine were among speakers at the fair.

“@leadingladiesconnect connect started Sept. 10, 2022, as a vision I had connecting women. We did some work and events in Montreal & online but these past two months navigating Toronto was tough, but I carry “blessing” at this point I know leave me in the dessert I will flourish… by God’s Grace and his mercies. I am eternally thankful to everyone who supported, shared and attended. The business owners who were courageous enough to register I am thankful,” an Instagram post reads.
