Entrepreneur Lillian Lincoln Lambert paved the way for other Black women to succeed and make a difference in their communities by becoming the first Black woman to receive an MBA from Harvard in 1969. Her work as an entrepreneur in the male-dominated building maintenance sector pushed boundaries for women and disadvantaged communities.

In the 1980s and 1990s, she expanded her business to a $20-million enterprise, employing over 1,200 people across six states, before selling it. After leaving the Harvard campus more than fifty years ago, Lambert authored a book and now enjoys travelling the country to share her story and guide others on their journeys.
