NASA has announced it will provide a $50,000 scholarship to Black students at HBCUs and other racialized institutions who want to contribute to research opportunities.

The organization’s Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) recently launched the MUREP Partnership Learning Annual Notification Award.

The MPLAN award will place winners into a cohort for training and support based on their chosen topic areas.

Opportunities include NASA's annual Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) solicitation, in which additional funding could be unlocked, a statement reads.
