Tamira Chapman has been announced as a finalist for the Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Michigan and Northwest Ohio Award.

EY, a leading global professional services organization, is one of the Big Four accounting firms in the world.

“I am incredibly honoured and humbled to be recognized by both EY and ForbesBLK,” Chapman said in a statement. “The recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team at Storehouse In A Box, as well as our commitment to creating a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. I hope my story will inspire others to pursue their dreams and positively impact their communities.”

The CEO of Storehouse In A Box leads a full-service e-commerce company that focuses on monetizing brands through merchandising; end-to-end product design, prototyping, manufacturing services; and fundraising as a service.

She has also been appointed to Forbes' ForbesBLK advisory board.

Before the nomination, she was praised for pioneering Ford Motor Company's health care plans, successfully negotiating over $1 billion related to benefits, and significantly reducing the company's benefits litigation, a statement reads.
